Juz 3: How Can you make 10 Thousands into 7 millions

Date: 3nd Ramadan 1443
Surah Baqarah: 261

مَثَلُ الَّذِیۡنَ یُنۡفِقُوۡنَ اَمۡوَالَہُمۡ فِیۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ کَمَثَلِ حَبَّۃٍ اَنۡۢبَتَتۡ سَبۡعَ سَنَابِلَ فِیۡ کُلِّ سُنۡۢبُلَۃٍ مِّائَۃُ حَبَّۃٍ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ یُضٰعِفُ لِمَنۡ یَّشَآءُ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ  وَاسِعٌ عَلِیۡمٌ 

The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.


Such a beautiful example for spending in the way to Allah. The seed disappears when sowed just like our money disappears when we do Sadaqah. But soon the seed grows into seven spikes and each spike has 100 seeds. One seed into 700 seeds. The same way our money multiples.

A farmer after sowing the seed protect it as well. In the same manner we have to protect our Sadaqah by not showing it off and hurting the one with the words you have given it. 

Spend for the needs of people. Spend for the deen of Allah. For the propagation of His beautiful deen.

Friends Food : Some friends work like food. They give you energy. Encourage you to do good. Motive you to move ahead.  Medicine : Some are like medicine. They console you during your difficult times. Help you out. Stand by you. You remember them at the time of hardship.  Disease : Some are disease. Filled with negative energy. Always backbite about other people. Talk negative. Do negative. Compel you to do negative. This is how Allah depicted the consequences of having a diseased friend in Qur'an: وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى ٱتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًۭا And beware of the Day the wrongdoer will bite his nails in regret and say, “Oh! I wish I had followed the Way along with the Messenger! يَـٰوَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِى لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًۭا  Woe to me! I wish I had never taken so-and-so as a close friend.
