Uhud
Prophet Muhammad صلى الله علىه وآله وسلم said, “ Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it." But my question is how can someone love a place where he got defeated? Normally we start hating a place where something bad happened to us. We don't want to speak or even listen about it. But the thing is, apparently what looks undesirable actually hides lots of خیر in it. It has taught us many lessons and gave us those experiences that usually we could not have in normal circumstances. It has given us a new vision of the world, of the life, of our existence. Extracting خیر out of a defeat or a failure is a difficult thing but it can be done by just observing micro details of it with strong faith in Allah's decree in the heart. Maria_thelightseeker
