Juz 20: Relying upon Spider's web
Date: 20th Ramadan 1443
Surah: Surah Al Ankaboot 41
The parable of those who take protectors other than Allah is that of a spider spinning a shelter. And the flimsiest of all shelters is certainly that of a spider, if only they knew.
In this Ayah Allah says whoever takes friend other than Allah is like taking shelter in a Spider's web.
ولي is a close friend on which one can also rely
for getting help.
Why Allah gave the example of a Spider's web ?
It is the thing a common that almost everyone has seen. So it is easy relatable.
The characteristics of this house are, it does not protect one from the rain or heat or cold. In this house the wife kills her husband before giving birth to her babies and as soon as babies grow up they kill their mother. Such a selfish and self centered house where everyone is concerned about his survival. It is so weak that if you have to lean over it like we lean on wall, you'll fall. If you want it take it's support from your hand. Il How can a person rely on such a house.
So relying upon someone other than Allah is exactly like find support from the Spider's web. Ask only from Allah because other than Him everything thing is Spider's web.
