What I learned today from Seerah of Rasool Allah(S.A.W.)

Group interests over individual interests

At the time of Sulah e Hudebiyah there were so many conditions and events that went against the interests of different individuals e.g. kuffar denied the usage of seal Muhammd Rasool Allah instead they asked to write Muhammad bin Abdullah and Prophet SAW agreed to it. One of the sahabi escaped from Makkah to Hudebiyah to get rescued but was sent back to Makkah according to the conditions agreed in Sulah and there were more. Just because the group interest was given importance. What was good for overall Muslims was considered more important as once the goal will be achieved all individuals will be getting benefits from it. 

Unfortunately, we are so unaware of our own principals, our own theories that we didn't even knew that this is the Islamic principal, the principal of Rasool Allah S.A.W. and here we are studying Henri Fayol's principal of management in business management to make our organisations work better. Wasn't that better that we followed our own principals, followed our own ways, get stuck to it and could proudly say that this is not what Fayol told us but the practical example of Rasool Allah SAW that taught us.

Friends Food : Some friends work like food. They give you energy. Encourage you to do good. Motive you to move ahead.  Medicine : Some are like medicine. They console you during your difficult times. Help you out. Stand by you. You remember them at the time of hardship.  Disease : Some are disease. Filled with negative energy. Always backbite about other people. Talk negative. Do negative. Compel you to do negative. This is how Allah depicted the consequences of having a diseased friend in Qur'an: وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى ٱتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًۭا And beware of the Day the wrongdoer will bite his nails in regret and say, “Oh! I wish I had followed the Way along with the Messenger! يَـٰوَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِى لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًۭا  Woe to me! I wish I had never taken so-and-so as a close friend.
